The NanoValid partners at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) have announced the publication of a research paper on the quantification of nanomaterial uptake into cell lines.

Two days in Tallinn, Estonia, saw the successful delivery of a dynamic workshop on the 'Synthesis, characterization and aquatic ecotoxicity testing of nanoparticles' hosted and implemented by the team at the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics.

Steffi Boehme has won the prize for the best presentation at the SETAC Europe conference 2014 in Basel for her talk: "Visualization of silver nanoparticle uptake by Laser-Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry".
